A Fashion Hunt We Go...

On the Prowl

If you are wondering what i'm in such a hunt for it's nude gladiator sandals!  Why prey tell is there such a need for these simple shoes?... because I am short!!  That's right, i'm only 5"3 and well, I like to create the illusion that I am extremely taller than what I truly am.  So since this year I am trying to ease out of the 4' heels and move to something extremely more casual, what's the elixer?   The answer would be nude shoes.  No matter what outfit you may wear, nude shoes will always give you that extra omph of tallness.  So if you see me shopping in Manhattan with my fashion spear on the prowl now you know it's for a pair of these babys right here!

So far I was able to find some from Piperlime and Aldo.  Macy's and Bloomingdales are also helpful

Here Comes The Sun Dress...

Saw this at Forever 21 and had to buy it! Everytime the weather gets colder and colder in this city, I look at this dress and know that spring is going to be rockin'. As much as I am melancholy about Taylor Swift her style is very inspiring for this year and this dress reminds me of what she wears. If I can live in Forever 21 I would be sooo happy!

It's All Tribal for Me...

It's all tribal for me!

<3

Pair this with a cute white dress...simple but very country chic!

I am so tired and bored with the snow and the cold in the city! Alas, all I have left is to plan for what I want to wear this summer. Soooo...here it is in Forever21 and Juicy Couture! There so much more but since these are two places which i hold dear to my heart I figured it would be nice to start out with that. Now i'm not big on brand name logos but Juicy Coutures towel and colors would not let me avert my eyes away, they are that good! So to all my cold weather friends, here's a nice way to stay warm as we dream of sunnier days to come :)

Waiting for the Summer to Wear This...

michael kors spring 2009

I was browsing through the Glamour website when this outfit hit me. I'm tired of looking and feeling so overdone that I am no longer comfortable. So for this year, it's also about Chic Comforts. I spoke to my girls about this too and they agree as well, the price to pay for extremly high heels may just be a 2009 thing. Kitten heels and wrap sandals might just be here to stay for the summer. Bring on the piƱa coladas everoone! ;)

Journey to the Center of Brooklyn...

This is why I love New York City so much! As cold as it may have been, the day was too beautiful to resist. My friend Drea and me decided to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and just see where we end up. While on our journey over the bridge I noticed that as city girls just because it was abnormally freezing did not mean we had to be in a fashion rut. When we finally ended up across the bridge we accidentally walked into a place called Water Street Restaurant. It was such a cool place with live music and amazing food! Afterward Drea and I were satisfied with our curiosity with what laid across the bridge and considered it a mission accomplished :)

FYI- Lady Gaga last night performing with Elton John, loved it! Bon Jovi was also a breathe of fresh air as well!

(I <3 my blue French Connections coat!)
