Embrace Fashion Show 2011

To take a break from the normal up to date shows of
New York Fashion Week, it appears that California
is also brimming with the latest looks as well!  Not
only did I enjoy each design and wanted to purchase
a couple of items straight off the runway, the entire
event was all for a good cause. The cause chosen for
the event and all proceeds went to an organization called
California Against Slavery Regions Beyond and "Regions Beyond Inc..

The guest speaker for the evening was a representative of
Regions Beyond and explained how many men, women,
and children are effected due to slavery globally and the
type of action their organization has taken to make a change.

The event began with beautiful and vibrant colors that were
ready to welcome Autumn and to prepare us for next Spring!
Each design were represented by two designers the first is
"Pink and Harmony" located in Menlo Park, California.  The
second designer of the night was "Embriven" (which happens
to be a mixture of Embrace and Driven) that is focused
on creating traditional and alluring vintage clothes.  It was
a beautiful and dazzling event and the entertainment was amazing
by a magical band perfectly named "Autumn Sky".

My Favorites:

This beautiful vintage shirt dress has an absolutely amazing indigo color!

A classic glamour

This electric blue is very in this season!

Mara Hoffman Spring 2012 Collection

Mara Hoffman from New York City, has already made her
staple mark in the fashion world since the year 2000! As a
protégé of Patricia Field, her rise and popularity is due
to her keen sense of knowing what is flattering and
emphasizing each alluring detail which is only her signature.

For Spring 2012 the collection is filled with beautiful tribal chic
patterns and exotic silhouettes all on silk and chiffon.  Her inspiration
for the line is said to be of Frieda Kahlo and the setting of her show
was filled with mariachi music playing in the background
to draw out the feel and inspiration of each piece which was
titled "Mara Mexicana".

My Favorites:

General Idea Spring 2012 is not only refreshing and classic,

like the charm of St. Tropez.  Bumsuk Choi recalls the
line as "Les Garçons de la Plage" (The boys of the beach),
