BCBGMAXAZRIA Fall/Winter 2014 Collection

It's always best in the West for BCBGMAXAZRIA
Fall/Winter 2014 and that is exactly what inspired
this eclectic yet warmly chic collection.  For this
season this collection focuses on details from furs,
structured hems, wool fabrics, and leather.  The
colors vibrated from deep sunset reds to a winter
white with pink exuding a pristine free spirited
look.

BCBGMAXAZRIA Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

Photos credited to: http://nymag.com/thecut/

The Inspiration For The Collection:

The queen of elegance and boudoir chic Sophia Loren!

It is the return of pretty and elegance and it is back
with a fury!  Brace yourselves, because this
upcoming spring/summer season it is filled with
pure beauty and a hint of modern sensuality.
Do not be fooled though, there are
bits of rebellion that seem to be woven into the
detailing, and that is what makes the designs even
more intriguing and alluring, which is found in this
particular collection.  Each design floats down the
runway with such ease and elegance that it is remarkable.

Why I personally enjoyed the collection is mostly due to
the intricate detailing and choice of patterns and materials
that are inspiring. Favorite details such as sleek black leather,
vintage lace, and whimsical chiffons galore. It was
extravagant and very classic with sensuality inspired by Helmut
Newton's black and white sensual photography. All in all
a wonderful and magnificent collection.

Rosa Pushér Fall/Winter 2012 Collection

One of the many personal favorites of mine, is a collection
that is filled with detail, sophistication, and splendor. The designer
Tammy Pushér, was inspired by a fusion of the late and
great actress Veronica Lake and human rights activist
and model Bianca Jagger.  Rosa Pushér has also been
featured on the likes of stars such as the ever charming and
stunning New York City socialite Tinsley Mortimer and super
model Heidi Albertsen, and creating quite an exquisite stir
in the fashion industry as well!
Be prepared to delight in the colors of this particular
collection such as ruby reds, onyx leather, crisp ivory,
and regal brocades. Rosa Pushér is a collection that is
bound to add glamour and sophistication
for this upcoming season, and I anticipate seeing
more!

Brandon Sun Fall/Winter 2012 Collection

It is the look of art and luxury in pure refinement
as each design is showcased and featured
immaculately.  Brandon Sun is a brand new
designer who just featured his first collection
during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

Having quite an experience working for J. Mendel and
Oscar De La Renta and graduated from the
Parsons School of Design as designer of the
year, you can see the influence and exquisite
taste in each fabric and detailing.  In this particular
collection the inspiration is from various favorite
Kung Fu movies and created the theme Silent
Assassin.  From fabrics such as plush furs,
sleek leathers, chiffons, satins, and silks.
The staple hues for this collection contains
slate greys, winter whites, espresso browns,

General Idea Menswear Fall/Winter 2012 Collection

Bumsuk Choi designed a collection that is both practical,
savvy, and sophisticated for the upcoming season.  This
particular collection was inspired by the 1968 Winter
Olympics Hockey Team, which you can see the
influence through each detailing.

The colors and textures of this collection also reflected the
inspiration as well through red oranges, fur, puffy coats,
slouchy pants, and a tad of leather and velvet.
