Concept Korea Fall and Winter 2012 Collection

This alluring, sophisticated, and graceful collection from a

collaboration of designers left myself personally breathless.

Each design that graced the runway always captured the

eyes, and were immaculately flawless for the upcoming 

Fall season.  

Before we get into full detail, lets have a little background

of who Concept Korea is and the inspiration behind such

a design.

Concept Korea is a collaboration of various Korean 

designers such as:

1. Son Jung Wan
2. Choiboko
3. Lie Sang Bong
4. Cres. E Dim
5. Kye

each designer adding their own personal decorum for the
premiere of their collection. The inspiration behind each
collection were under the theme "Ink Wash Painting".
You can definitely see the influence of the theme in
these examples...

Awesome Sample Sale in New York City

One of the many fabulous reasons why I love

New York City is simply the enjoyment of sample sales.

The dress that has been eyed for half the year can finally

be ones beloved belongings for a lifetime, or a wonderful

heel that makes the outfit that has been superbly displayed

in the store window can finally be seen in ones own closet.

All this can be due to great sample sales that happen just

about every year and here is one of my personal favorites.

Kaelen Fall/Winter 2012 Collection

Kaelen Fall/Winter 2012 Collection had a very

flapper art-deco feel for the upcoming season,

and I can not wait!  It was beautiful to watch each

elegant silhouette and effortless appeal of each fabric.

Vintage prints, gold lamé, lace, and chiffon were the 

appearances of the runway for this collection and it 

was a breathtaking romanticism sight.

Nicholas K Fall/Winter 2012 Collection

Nicholas Kunz and Christopher Kunz



It was a collection that went "Into the West" for their inspiration
for Fall 2012 collection.  A collection that was filled with deep
colors such as jet blacks, french roast browns, battleship grays,
sandy taupes, sepias, sienna, silvers, arsenic blues, and portland
orange.  Not only were the colors creating a declaratory appearance,
but so were the detailing and fabric chosen as well!
There were fringes, leather, pleather, wool, chiffons, and silks
that added to the main inspiration of this collection which was
the Taos art colony of the 1920's and 1930's, (hence the fringes).

Personally, it was an exciting and intriguing collection that is
perfect for a casual and cool embrace for this upcoming Fall.
